BlancOne+ at the clinic and at home
BlancOne+ is the whitening system used at MedNiemi, offering both in-clinic treatments and HOME+ products for home use. It builds on research and development by dentists Nikolaos Loupis and Remigio Piergallini. Treatment is planned around the condition, staining and sensitivity of your teeth.
The system combines whitening gel, light activation and enamel care. The method and its effects have been studied. Research findings relate to the particular product and treatment investigated; an individual result or complete freedom from symptoms cannot be guaranteed.
BlancOne® TOUCH+: professional whitening
TOUCH+ is an in-clinic photochemical whitening treatment. It is particularly suitable when the aim is a more noticeable shade change than express whitening, even brightness and as little sensitivity as possible. A dental professional always assesses whether the treatment is suitable for you.
Light from the ARCUS lamp activates the whitening gel. The photochemical reaction takes place in the gel, releasing oxygen compounds that break down stains. This allows a low peroxide concentration and short treatment cycles.
LightSpeed® 3.0 and individual treatment times
TOUCH+ light activation uses LightSpeed® 3.0 technology. Updated light activators improve how the gel uses light energy. The aim is a controlled whitening reaction with minimal heat exposure.
TOUCH+ treatment consists of four cycles, with fresh gel applied between cycles. Your dental professional selects an appropriate activation programme and follows the current instructions for the product being used.
Activation options are Fast (8 minutes per cycle), Standard (10 minutes), Extended (12 minutes), and Sensitive (10 minutes at low intensity). Longer activation gives the reaction more time, but results also depend on the characteristics and staining of your teeth.
Tooth Rejuvenation™: enamel care during whitening
TOUCH+ combines peroxide whitening with nanoXIM® nanohydroxyapatite and vitamins. According to the manufacturer, Tooth Rejuvenation™ supports remineralisation, the return of minerals to enamel, and may reduce tooth sensitivity.
The manufacturer describes the minerals as binding to enamel and exposed dentine and smoothing small surface irregularities. This may improve smoothness and light reflection, reduce unwanted translucency and support a naturally brighter, more even result. Whitening does not replace examination or restorative treatment of a cracked tooth.
Gentle treatment with professional monitoring
In-clinic whitening offers speed and continuous professional monitoring. A separate gum barrier is not usually needed with TOUCH+, but gum health and protection needs are always assessed beforehand. Irritation or other specific needs may require protection.

HOME+: home whitening and maintenance
In-clinic whitening can be complemented by HOME+ treatment at home under professional guidance. FAST is used during the day for 45 minutes a day. NIGHT works overnight. EVER is maintenance whitening used with orthodontic aligners and is also designed for sensitive teeth.
Whitening results are not permanent. Reaching the desired shade may require several sessions. Maintenance is planned individually. Avoid highly abrasive toothpastes and ask your dental professional about products that suit your teeth.
